Frances was born in 1981 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Over the past 15 years, she has worked with Discovery Channels and Nat Geo on numerous projects with stories of Taiwan. The experiences trained her well on telling stories that touches heart which interest global audience. In recent years,  her works gained much attention at home and abroad. She has been nominated twice by the Golden Bell Award for "Best Director Of Non-scripted Programs" in 2019 and 2021. Now she is producing a new documentary film which features the story of Taiwanese traditional folk songs in southern Taiwan.
